Charitable sponsorship

Sponsor compassionate care.

Your business or organization can help United Mothers of Loss Foundation provide practical comfort, remembrance, and connection for grieving families. Choose a program, then talk with us about a contribution that meets a documented need.

Choose the work you want to support

Cuddle Cot placements

Contribute toward equipment that gives families additional time with their babies after loss. Placements are coordinated with participating care facilities. Discuss equipment costs, a receiving facility, and placement timing before funding a specific unit.

Care packages for grieving mothers

Help provide comfort items, written encouragement, and packaging for mothers after pregnancy or infant loss. In-kind gifts depend on current needs and storage capacity; contact us before sending supplies. Recipients currently pay shipping after approval.

Baby Remembrance Memory Boxes

Help families preserve photographs, hospital bracelets, letters, and other keepsakes in a dedicated remembrance box. This program honors the baby and is separate from the care package that comforts the grieving mother.

Free resources and volunteer work

Support grief education, peer connection, or supplies for volunteer initiatives such as Sleeping Bags for Angels. Discuss the specific materials or activity your contribution would help deliver.

A clear plan for your contribution

Email your organization's name, the program you are interested in, your proposed contribution or donated items, and your preferred timing. Together, we can define the scope before a sponsorship is agreed:

  • The people or care facility the project is intended to serve.
  • The budget, what it covers, and what funding or supplies are still needed.
  • Who will coordinate the work and a feasible delivery or placement timeline.
  • How spending and completed deliveries or activities will be reported.
  • Any agreed acknowledgment, with families' privacy protected.

Program availability depends on funding, supplies, eligibility, and coordination with care facilities. Quantities and timelines are agreed for each project.

Community support already at work

We are grateful to Christian Financial Credit Union for grant support for bereavement care packages for Wayne County families, and to Minky Couture for donating blankets for our care-package work in 2026.

Our impact and updates page separates funding received, program plans, and completed activities. Visit our transparency page for nonprofit information and governance.
